You can increase or decrease the suction in between which is nice. It seems the speed goes up a bit with suction as well. In the other mode, you can just use it as a pump. I originally purchased this so I can do my thing hands-free, it serves that purpose perfectly, there are several different modes and all of them feel pretty good. One full charge will have this running for roughly an hour. Very easy to clean, just take the bottom part out of the suction tube and clean with water. Another thing I like about this is the quietness, it's like a soft hummm with the self moving modes.

It's my first-time experience with a "machine" type toy and it's very simple and incredibly effective.
